1:1 Peer support

Steady, human support rooted in lived experience

It’s time to leave behind what isn’t working and start building support that truly holds you...

When everything feels tangled, when you’re “coping” but barely, you don’t need someone to take over.
You need space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and learn skills that actually help in the moment you need them.

As a peer supporter, I'll walk alongside you, not above you.
Together, we untangle the overwhelm, strengthen practical coping tools, and build a way of supporting yourself that feels realistic and sustainable.

This is steady, human support rooted in lived experience designed to help you feel calmer, clearer and more capable of managing stress and mental health challenges in real, everyday life.

This support is for you if…

🌀You feel stressed, anxious, overwhelmed or have mental health challenges and want practical ways to manage it.

🌀You’re looking for ways to help and support yourself outside of using the mental health systems.

🌀You want skills you can rely on, not just reassurance in the moment.

🌀You’d prefer to build coping strategies before (or alongside) considering medication.

🌀You've recently had a diagnosis and want guidance on processing it, options and next steps to take.

🌀You’re a parent carrying a lot and want to feel calmer and more like yourself again.

🌀You care about your growth and personal development but aren't sure how to move forward.

You don’t need a diagnosis.
You don’t need to be in crisis.
You just need to want things to feel more manageable and be willing to learn skills that support you in the long term.

What exactly is peer support?

Peer support is structured emotional and practical support offered by someone who has lived experience of the situation you're going through and how to rebuild confident, steady wellbeing.

It focuses on:

  • Empathy rooted in lived experience

  • Validation without judgment

  • Strengthening self-trust and self-management

  • Sharing practical coping tools

  • Building confidence and autonomy

Peer support can sit alongside therapy or medical care, or stand on its own.

Where clinical services focus on diagnosis and treatment, peer support focuses on application.

It is now widely recognised within health services, including the NHS, as a valuable and effective part of modern health care, improving wellbeing, confidence, and long-term self-management.

We are taught how to receive treatment but rarely
how to lead our own mental health, healing and personal growth.

That changes here.

What I can help you with:

🌿 Guidance in navigating a diagnosis or difficult seasons
Helping you process what it means, understand your options, and take steady, empowered next steps.

🌿Gain tools and learn skills for a calmer, clearer mind
Including emotional and nervous system regulation, mental health management, spiritual growth, resilience building, and personal development.

🌿 Support when you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself
Helping you untangle what’s weighing on you and reconnect with who you are and what you need.

🌿 Reconnecting with yourself beneath the roles and responsibilities
Untangling who you are now beyond work, partnership, or parenthood.

🌿Compassionate companionship – knowing you’re not alone, that you have support from someone who has walked this path and come through the other side.

1:1 Peer Support

With Anna Rising

I've been involved in mental health and personal development in one way or another for 20 years now. Many clients choose to work together for a focused period to build core skills, then step away feeling more confident and equipped.

This isn’t just a conversation. It’s structured, skill-based support designed to leave you more capable between sessions, not dependent on them.

Here is how it works:

1

60 minutes 1:1 call

During an initial 60 minute 1:1 call, we'll look at the presenting challenges you're facing and clarify what feels most important for you right now.

2

After your first session

At the end of our initial call, you’re free to decide whether continuing feels right for you. There is never pressure.

3

Choose your package

If you feel you'd like to continue working together, we can discuss frequency of sessions from weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.

This work is structured, intentional, and built around practical skill development.

You won’t leave sessions wondering what to do next. You’ll leave knowing what to practise and why it works.

Pricing:

60-minute session: £70
4-session foundation: £270 (save £10)
8-session consolidation: £520 (save £40)

Anna Business-26.jpg
I lead a very stressful life running a business and juggling family. My blood pressure has suffered as a result and I decided, in order to try and reduce this, I would pursue an alternative way instead of taking medication. Having spent the last 4 months learning techniques from Anna, I am seeing a positive result. My blood pressure has come down, I feel more relaxed and I'm able to handle the day to day issues now.

S.T

My lived experience includes navigating:

  • Depression, anxiety and anxiety based conditions

  • OCD and BFRBs

  • Trauma-related challenges (including PTSD and CPTSD)

  • Ante and post natal mental health challenges

  • Abuse and family estrangement

  • Chronic illness

  • Burnout

  • Periods of deep loss of identity, meaning, and direction

I share this not to centre my story, but to be transparent about the depth of experience behind this work.

My understanding of struggle isn’t theoretical, and neither is my belief in recovery.
